Harkunwar Teja

Harkunwar Singh Teja, aged 14, is a Grade 9 student at Louise Arbour Secondary School in Brampton, Ontario. He started archery four years back, under the guidance of his father, Jiwanjot Singh Teja, who coaches the Indian National Archery team.
Harkunwar won a gold medal and set two new records in the under-15 compound category in his very first international tournament- the 2024 Youth and Masters PAN American Championship that was held at El Salvador in 2024.
He wants to represent Canada in the Olympics and accomplish his childhood dream of becoming an Olympic medalist. His goal is to get into a top sports university and become a world-famous archer and coach. Apart from archery, he enjoys gaming.
