Lac La Biche Chosen for 2022 3D Selection Trials

LAC LA BICHE, AB – In preparation for the 2022 World Archery 3D Championships taking place from September 5-11, 2022, Archery Canada has chosen Lac La Biche as the location for the 3D team selection trials. The trials will take place from June 17th to 19th, 2022.

Participants will be required to register for the event and will have to cover their own costs for travel, accommodation and all other items related to the trials. The accommodations will be at Parkland Hotels. The trials will follow World Archery format. The venue has two (2) 24-target courses that will follow World Archery shooting rules with 2 arrows per target. A registration form will be distributed to all athletes who submitted intent and will be posted online in the coming week.

Lac La Biche previously hosted the World Archery 3D Championships in early September 2019, the last time this event was held before the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition hosted over 250 athletes and four different bow disciplines – compound, barebow, longbow, and instinctive.
