The Archery Canada (AC) Para Archery Ranking List is an annual list that ranks archers who have been classified for para competition, as defined by World Archery. Learn more about Para Classifications.
Archers who compete in Archery Canada or World Archery events are automatically entered into the database when their scores are entered via the Archery Canada Scoring Program. Once scores are entered by the tournament organizers, the Para Coordinator will compile the Para Ranking List with quarterly updates posted to the AC Website.
The Archery Canada Para-Archery Ranking List will determine squad levels for athletes (Gold, Red and Blue). Athletes in the Gold and Red squads will be eligible for selection as members of the National Team while athletes in Blue Squad will be considered for selection to the Development Team.
The Para-Archery Ranking List will be used to assist Archery Canada with: i) the selection of athletes to Para-Archery National Team events; and ii) the level of funding for national team athletes.
When Archery Canada utilizes the AC Ranking List for the purpose of selecting member athletes to teams, the specific criteria for selection will reference the National Ranking List as part of its process.
