Archery Canada is hosting a recurve selection camp for the Pan American Championships in September of this year. The details are below.

Dates: September 23-25, 2022

Location: Archery Canada Centre of Excellence 

Moyers Blair Landing

780 Fountain St S, Cambridge, ON N3H 4R8

Provisional Schedule:

September 23 – Official practice

September 24 – 720 round & team round

September 25 – Team round & individual matches 

The field will also be available for unofficial practice in the evening of September 22nd. A detailed schedule will be made available 7 days before the start of the camp. Official scoring will begin no earlier than 8:30 a.m. each morning.

Registration will close on August 31st, 2022. 

As outlined in the selection addendum, registration may be capped at 16 archers per gender. If more than 16 archers register, athletes in the National Squad will be prioritized and the remaining spots will be allocated based on performances during the 2022 season. The participant list will be finalized on September 2nd. 

Participants travelling from out of province may submit for partial reimbursement of travel expenses. Archery Canada has allocated $1500 to cover up to 15% of transportation costs for athletes from outside of Ontario. Athletes may submit an expense form and corresponding receipts to Kylah Cawley at kcawley@archerycanada.ca. Expenses must be received by October 31, 2022. If available funds remain after that date, they may be proportionally allocated to those who have already submitted a claim. A registration fee of $120 is required for all participants.

All participants will be responsible for supplying their own food and hydration.
