Riley Warwa

Riley trains at the Sherwood Park Archery Club in Alberta and is coached by Dawn Groszko. He started shooting a bow at age 4 and has been competing since age 8, with over 10 years of competitive experience. One of Riley’s biggest accomplishments was representing Team Canada at the 2024 Youth and Masters Pan Am Championships in El Salvador, where he won bronze in the U18 Mixed Compound Team event and shot a personal best of 691, placing second in individual qualifications. His goal for the 2025 World Youth Archery Championships is to win his first elimination match. Outside of archery, Riley will begin studying Instrumentation Engineering Technology at NAIT in September. A mountain enthusiast, he recently hiked to the summit of Mount Fisher Peak—the highest point in B.C.’s Southern Rockies at 9,336 ft.
