OTTAWA, ON – Archery Canada is now accepting registrations for the YPAC selection camp. The event will be used to select athletes to compete at the upcoming Youth & Masters Pan American Championships, taking place in Halifax, NS from May 30^th to June 5^th, 2022. It is also an opportunity to visit Charlottetown in preparation for the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

The camp is open to athletes that are eligible to compete in the U18 (cadet) and U21 (junior) compound and recurve categories. This event will not only provide the opportunity for athletes to qualify for the Youth Pan American Championships (YPAC), but to interact with provincial, territorial and national team coaches. Shooting will take place at full outdoor distances and is a good opportunity for early season distance training. Archers are encouraged to participate at the event even if they don’t anticipate being selected for either the YPAC or Canada Winter Games.
