WW Gunter Memorial Bursary now open for Applications
The WW Gunter Memorial Bursary, funded by the Canadian Archery Foundation, is awarded annually to a Canadian Archer between the ages of 17 and 21, on December 31st. Applications are open to archers who have previously competed or will be competing for Canada at a World Championship or international archery competition such as the Youth Olympic Games. Archers who are planning to continue their education at the post-secondary level and who have not previously been awarded this bursary are eligible and the recipient will be recognized for their strong work ethic and sportsmanship.
Applications will be reviewed by the Canadian Archery Foundation committee. Applications are to consist of transcripts from most recent education, an introductory cover letter, a short essay, a reference letter from a coach and a reference letter from a club/province or community representative.
