Archery Canada Announces Team for First World Cup of the Season in Puebla
Archery Canada is proud to announce the athletes who will represent Canada at the first stage of the Archery World Cup in Puebla, Mexico.
Competing in recurve, the team includes Brian Maxwell, Virginie Chénier, and Janna Hawash. These athletes will take to the international stage as they begin the 2026 outdoor season, building momentum against some of the world’s top competitors.
The team will be supported by National Coaches Junior Bolaños and Linda Price, who will guide preparations and performance throughout the event.
Following the World Cup, several Canadian athletes will continue their competition schedule at the Americas Grand Prix in San Salvador, El Salvador. This event is an open registration competition, providing additional international experience and competitive opportunities. Canadian athletes electing to participate include Virginie Chénier, Brian Maxwell, Kylie Oliver, and Brandon Xuereb.
