World Archery Recognition Programs

Members of Archery Canada have the opportunity to receive World Archery Performance awards for their outstanding shooting accomplishments. These awards are known as the World Archery Star Pins. Archers may apply for one recurve or compound award per scoring level achieved.The World Archery Star awards recognize achievements on the standard World Archery competition rounds. 

Star awards can be gained at tournaments organised by member associations and recognized by World Archery, and should be claimed through national archery associations that are a member of World Archery. The awards and how to claim them are listed on this page.

Guidelines for all Pins:

In order to qualify for pins, the event must be an Archery Canada registered event with a World Archery event designation. You can determine the registration level by:

Only one performance award can be claimed for each round – when the athlete achieves the relevant score for the first time in an event. Please note, you must have separate scores for each award

Applicants must be a current registered participant of Archery Canada to receive awards. See below on how to claim your award. Please note you will need to scan and submit your scorecard with your claim.

World Archery Star Award - Compound

World Archery Star Awards are available for Compound archers registered in the Junior or Senior divisions in World Archery registered Star events (4 distance 1440 rounds). The Compound award is the World Archery Star on a circular background.

World Archery Star Award - Recurve

World Archery Star Awards are available for Compound archers registered in the Junior or Senior divisions in World Archery registered Star events (4 distance 1440 rounds). The Recurve award is the World Archery Star on a shield:

World Archery Silver Stars - Compound

Silver World Archery Stars are available for compound archers shooting in the Cadet and Masters classes in four distance 1440 rounds.
