Members of Archery Canada have the opportunity to receive World Archery Performance awards for their outstanding shooting accomplishments. These awards are known as the World Archery Star Pins. Archers may apply for one recurve or compound award per scoring level achieved. The World Archery Star awards recognize achievements on the standard World Archery competition rounds.
Star awards can be gained at tournaments organised by member associations and recognized by World Archery, and should be claimed through national archery associations that are a member of World Archery. The awards and how to claim them are listed on this page. There is a $10 fee for claimed awards which includes shipping. The fee will be invoiced upon verification of the award.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the AC – WA Pin Awards Coordinator: AC-WA-pins@hotmail.com
Guidelines for all Pins:
In order to qualify for pins, the event must be an Archery Canada registered event with a World Archery event designation. You can determine the registration level by:
- Asking the host of the tournament if it is registered as a World Archery event
- Checking the World Archery Events Calendar
- Checking the Archery Canada Calendar
Only one performance award can be claimed for each round – when the athlete achieves the relevant score for the first time in an event. Please note, you must have separate scores for each award
Applicants must be a current registered participant of Archery Canada to receive awards. See below on how to claim your award. Please note you will need to scan and submit your scorecard with your claim.
