Being an Archery Canada registrant is automatic for all archers, coaches and officials when you register with your Provincial/Territorial organization. As an Archery Canada registrant, you’re part of a nationwide community that’s building skills, creating opportunities, and supporting safe, fun archery for everyone. Technical Memberships for Coaches and Officials
Technical Memberships are available as either a standalone membership or as a complimentary add-on to an Archer Membership.
Coach Technical Membership Requirements
To qualify for a Coach Technical Membership, you must meet the following requirements:
NCCP Training or Certification: You must be trained or certified in one of the following NCCP coaching pathways:
- Instructor of Beginner Archers
- Instructor of Intermediate Archers
- Introduction to Competition Coach
- Competition Development Coach
Safe Sport Training: You must also complete one of the following Safe Sport education programs every 3 years:
- CAC Safe Sport Training, or
- Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
Successful Police Record Check: Must be completed every three (3) years.
Official/Judge
To qualify for a Judge/Official Technical Membership, you must meet the following requirements:
Judge Certification: You must be trained or certified as a local, Provincial or National level judge or higher.
Safe Sport Training: You must also complete one of the following Safe Sport education programs every 3 years:
- CAC Safe Sport Training, or
- Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
Successful Police Record Check: Must be completed every three (3) years.
Range Safety Officer
To qualify for a Range Safety Officer Technical Membership, you must meet the following requirements:
RSO Certification: You must complete the Range Safety Officer Training Program every 4 years
