2026 World Archery 3D Championships team named by Archery Canada

Archery Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent Canada at the 2026 World Archery 3D Championships, to be held 24 Sep to 4 Oct 2026 in Yankton, United States of America.

Canada prepares for the 2026 World Archery 3D Championships with strong recent international momentum. At the 2022 World Archery 3D Championships in Terni, Italy, Canadian athletes delivered standout performances, including podium success, while the 2024 World Archery 3D Championships in Mokrice, Slovenia saw multiple Canadian archers advance to elimination rounds and record competitive finishes across divisions.

The 2026 team features a balanced blend of veteran Team Canada members and emerging talent. Several athletes on the roster, including Trudy Dryden, Monica Higgins, and Miranda Sparkes, are also former world championship medallists from 2019, adding proven podium pedigree as Canada looks ahead to the next championship cycle.

“It’s always an honour to be named to the team and represent Canada on the world stage,” said Trudy Dryden of New Brunswick. “I have very fond memories of past world championships, including 2019, and I’m really looking forward to 2026. I’m competitive by nature and always enjoy challenging myself, and knowing I’ll be competing at this level means taking great responsibility in preparing myself in all aspects of my shooting so I can represent Canada to the best of my ability.”
