Short Biography:
My journey in archery started back in 2015 when I attended the archery venue in Varsity Stadium at the Pan Am Games. At this point I was already involved in archery at a recreational level shooting a compound bow. At the Pan Am Games, I spectated the qualification round and the men’s individual medal matches where I was able to watch archers at the highest level of competition compete. After that event I realized that was what I wanted to do. A week later I purchased my first recurve bow, and soon after met my first coach, Shawn Riggs, starting my archery career. Since then, I finished high-school in 2018, began studying History at Wilfrid Laurier University. I also moved up to the National Squad in 2020 from the Development program, coached by Joan McDonald at the time, and started working at The Bow Shop in Waterloo.
