Short Biography:

In my professional life I am an elementary school teacher, instructing students in the Peel District School Board. However, one of my main passions is archery. Although I played many sports throughout my youth and early adult life, I was only introduced to archery in late 2015 after my eldest son started the sport as part of a high school program. I picked up a bow for the first time in February of 2016 when my second son and I began classes at The Archers of Caledon. We were coached by an amazing group of individuals, which inspired me to continue developing my skills and has resulted in archery becoming my main sport. At the 2023 Provincials in Petawawa, I was pleased to see my practice and dedication to improving rewarded when I broke the Masters Women record. I recently competed in my first international competition, the Pan Am Games in El Salvador, and look forward to continuing competing at local, provincial, national, and international competitions.
