Trudy Dryden

Short Biography:

I was born in 1953 and grew up on a dairy farm. My parents emigrated from Holland to California and then emigrated to Canada in 1957 and settled in northern New Brunswick. We became Canadian citizens in 1967. I am married to my husband, Bob for 45 years and we have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I was Executive Director for the Certified General Association of NB for 27 years and retired in 2014 when the accounting bodies merged. I enjoy volunteering my time to Archery New Brunswick where I served as secretary for 17 years and currently hold the position of Vice President. I thoroughly enjoy shooting arrows and helping new people to the sport of archery.

Biggest Accomplishment:

My biggest accomplishments was earning a professional accounting designation (Certified General Accountant) in 1996; the title of “Fellow” in 2003; and “Life Membership” in 2014.

Hobbies outside of Sport:

Gardening, reading, and enjoying nature.
