Archery Canada is pleased to announce the nominations for the 2025-2026 Sport Canada Carding Cycle, The Recurve and Paralympic Technical Advisory Groups with Sport Canada have approved the following athletes for the Athlete Assistance Program (AAP). Athletes who qualify, are nominated and accept the nomination for the program will receive funding from Sport Canada to help subsidize costs that are essential to their time in sport, such as training and living expenses.

Congratulations to these athletes for their dedication that enabled them to achieve this support!

2025-26 AAP Funding recipients are:

Recurve:

• Eric Peters – Men’s Recurve
• Brian Maxwell – Men’s Recurve
• Brandon Xuereb – Men’s Recurve
• Virginie Chenier – Women’s Recurve
• Janna Hawash – Women’s Recurve

Paralympic:

• Kyle Tremblay – Compound Men Open
• Daniel Comeau – Compound Men Open
• Jean-Francois Lavergne – Recurve Men Open
