High Performance and National Team Program Updates

The following selection processes and updates to High Performance program items have recently been approved and made available online, and linked below.

1. 2025 National Ranking List – Updates to the Process and Criteria

The National Ranking List process has been updated for the first time since 2019. The following are the key changes to the process:

  • Squad Level thresholds updated for Outdoor Rankings
  • Sr. Red Squad = based on the recently published Minimum Qualification Scores for World Archery World Cups. Blue and Black squads adjusted for this change
  • Barebow Squad levels calculated and determined for 21+, U21 and U18 categories.
  • Changes to Performance Points calculation process.

2. Junior Pan Am Games – Internal Nomination Procedure and FISU World University Games: 

The Nomination procedure for the 3 Recurve quotas earned for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games, as well as the Selection addendum for the 2025 FISU World University Games has been published on the International Team Selection Criteria resource pages. 3. World Games Internal Nomination Procedure

The Nomination procedure for the Female Recurve and Male Barebow quotas earned for the 2025 World Games is published online on the Field Teams Selection Criteria resource page. Interested athletes an find the process here: https://archerycanada.ca/our-field-program/selection-processes/
