First-ever Canadian ASA Indoor Championships coming to Manitoba
Brandon, MB – Archery Canada is excited to announce that the Canadian ASA Indoor Championships will be held in Brandon, Manitoba from March 21 to 23, 2025. This is the first National ASA event and is part of an effort to grow the ASA rule set in Canada. The organization is looking forward to hosting archers from across the country. This event will replace the Indoor 3D Championships for 2025 and will feature all Known Categories from ages 6 and up (the Open class will not be offered for championships indoors).
Exciting new features and bonuses await participants at the upcoming ASA Indoor Championships! The competition will consist of a qualification over three rounds of 20 on Delta McKenzie 3D targets, with a Shootdown in certain categories to determine the winner. Fun bonuses include pay-to-play novelty shots, up to $9,000 in cash prizes, and vendor booths showcasing cutting-edge archery gear
Archery Canada proudly serves as the official representative of ASA in Canada. This ruleset, which originates in the USA, is a competition format for 3D Archery. The sport challenges archers to shoot at 3D foam animal targets set at different distances and angles, requiring competitors to estimate distances themselves. As a pioneer in incorporating known-distance 3D shooting, ASA provides an accessible entry point for newcomers while offering seasoned competitors a test of skill and precision.
Registration is open now and closes on March 12, 2025 – do not miss your opportunity to be a part of this historic event in Canada, where a new discipline of archery will emerge.
