Multiple time Canadian Champion Don Warren passes away

OTTAWA, ON – Archery Canada is saddened to learn of the death of Don Warren, who passed away due to complications from Alzheimer’s on August 11, 2022. Mr. Warren was a perennial Canadian Champion from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, dating back to the mid-1960s. He was crowned Canadian Champion many times in both indoor and outdoor national events. Mr. Warren attended two World Championships as part of Team Canada – in 1973 (Grenoble, FR) and 1977 (Canberra, AU). He further contributed to the sport of archery as a member on the Board of Directors for both the Archery Canada and the British Columbia Archery Association.
Don owned a professional auto restoration company and was a member of many vintage automobile clubs. A car show in his honour will be held in North Vancouver on September 17th.
