Canada Cup East to Welcome Archers for a Strong Competition

CALEDON, ON – Canada Cup East is happening June 20 to 22 in Caledon, Ontario and will provide another opportunity for archers to showcase their talent, following the largest Canada Cup West in history at the end of last month. There are over 140 participants aiming for the top spot at the event hosted by the Archers of Caledon. The event will host the 50+, 21+, U21, and U18 classes in recurve, compound, and barebow. The Canada Cup East, alongside its western counterpart, is considered one of the major Canadian target archery competitions this year.
“The Archers of Caledon are thrilled to once again be hosting the 2025 Canada Cup East,” said Mark D’Cunha, Vice President and Co-Chair of the Host Organizing Committee. “We look forward to welcoming archers from across Canada, including the Para Archers, who will be extending their stay for a training camp next week. As one of Ontario’s largest Target archery events this year, the Canada Cup East provides invaluable experiences for our dedicated members and volunteers.”
The competition kicks off with a 720 qualification round, the scores from which will be used to seed athletes going into the elimination round, where archers shoot off in matches until the Champion is crowned. It also includes a mixed team event, where archers pair up to compete. As an added bonus, participants were also given the opportunity to register for an optional 720 round, which gives them more time on the range before qualifying.
