Canadian judges selected to international events
OTTAWA, ON – Archery Canada is excited to announce that three of its judges have been selected to judge at international events as part of the 2023 competition season.
Laura Lynne Churchill, the chair of Archery Canada’s Judges Committee, will travel to Antalya, Turkey for the first stage of the 2023 Hyundai World Cup in April.
Mike Oneschuk and Eric Fok were selected for their first World Archery events. Oneschuk will attend the Indoor World Series in Las Vegas at the beginning of February, while Fok has been selected to officiate the World Archery Youth Championships in Limerick, Ireland at the beginning of July. While both judges have been active nationally for a while and both serve on our Judges Committee, this is the first time they will travel overseas to officiate an archery competition since becoming International Judge Candidates.
Selection to international events is a great opportunity for judge development and Archery Canada is thrilled to see three judges chosen to officiate internationally.
