Para Archery Team Set to Open their Para World Series Season in Nove Mesto
Ottawa, ON – The national para archery team is set to begin its 2026 international campaign this week at the Para Archery World Series in Nove Mesto, marking the squad’s first major event of the season.
The competition will provide an important early-season test against many of the world’s top para archers as athletes look to establish momentum on the international stage, leading towards the Para World Series in Santiago Chile then the Para Pan American Games in Lima Peru, in the early Fall of 2026.

The Para World Series in Nove Mesto marks Spencer Arnold’s World Archery debut and provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience competing against elite international opposition in advance of the Para Pan Am Championships, which is the key event this season, with Para Pan Am Games quotas available.
The team will be supported at this event by Paralympic Head Coach, Linda Price (Mission, B.C.) and Bryan Nguyen (Montreal, QC) acting as team support.
