3D Indoor Championships Cancelled
CAPE BRETON, NS – Due to the current Nova Scotia sporting event capacity restrictions related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Archery Canada and the host organizing committee regrettably announces the cancellation of the 2022 3D Indoor Championships in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Current & predicted public health restrictions in Nova Scotia limit the event to a maximum of 60 participants, officials, and spectators which would not have permitted the successful event that Cape Breton had envisioned. While Archery Canada and the organizers acknowledge that restrictions are being lifted in many places across the country, the current restrictions are not set to expire until just after the planned date for this event. Potential options to reschedule have been explored without success, so the decision has been taken to cancel the event for 2022.
The 2023 3D Indoor Championships will be hosted in Calgary, Alberta and the event in Cape Breton will be rescheduled to 2024. Updated dates and any relevant information will be announced as soon as possible.
