Additional youth athletes selected to represent Canada at YMPAC 2022

OTTAWA, ON – Following a make-up qualification opportunity and Selection Approval Panel (SAP) nomination approval, an additional 8 athletes have been selected to travel to Halifax for the Youth and Masters Pan Am Championships. The full team is listed below, with the new additions in bold.

This follows the PEI Selection Camp in which several archers were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond their control. These new athletes have been added following a make-up qualification opportunity, as well as to take advantage of development opportunities in the competition.
The Youth and Masters Pan Am Championships are happening in Halifax, NS from May 30 to June 5th, 2022. The competition will see archers in the U18 (cadet), U21 (junior) and 50+ (master) age categories, shooting in the Olympic recurve, compound, and barebow equipment classes. Athletes from countries across North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean will be in attendance.
