OTTAWA, CAN – Archery Canada is pleased to announce that Linda Price has accepted a contract to lead Canada’s Paralympic Archery program through to the 2025 Para Archery World Championships and beyond. The Paralympic team, since 2022, has been working with a core group of technical leaders supporting the team at various events, while the Paralympic Program and its future was reviewed. This appointment is a key element in supporting the Paralympic program as the athletes begin to prepare for the World Championships and the path towards the LA2028 Paralympic Games. 

Undera part-time, 18 month contract, effective Oct. 1 2024, Price joins Archery Canada at an opportune time following the 2024 Paralympic Games. As a member of the technical leadership group for the Para Program the last 2 years, her experience with the Para team will allow for a full evaluation/debrief of the Program at this critical point of the season. 

“Linda has been a key member and valuable asset to various Canadian teams throughout the years, having worked with athletes at all levels in Canada. She became a key technical support member for the Paralympic team in the last couple of years, and gained valuable experience while supporting Paralympian, Kyle Trembaly, through to the Paralympic Games at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. ” said Kylah Cawley, High Performance Manager.  “As we begin to review and plan our strategies through to LA2028 and beyond, having Linda in this leadership position becomes vital for our program to ensure consistent technical leadership throughout our strategy development”

“I am very excited to be more involved with the Para program, its athletes and the strategy going forward,”  says Price. She continued, “ We have a great team of Para Athletes, and I am looking forward to seeing it grow in the coming years.”

Price will report to Kylah Cawley, High Performance Manager, with the support of the Para Technical Advisory Group and while working closely with the personal coaches of the athletes in the program.
