Archery Canada partners with Interpodia to improve user experience
OTTAWA – Archery Canada is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Vancouver-based Interpodia to provide a world-class digital infrastructure for its membership.
Founded in 2009, Interpodia is a technology and online solutions provider that powers flexible, sport-specific platforms for sport organizations, clubs and events worldwide.
“This is an exciting new partnership for Archery Canada,” said executive director Karl Balisch. “The implementation of a comprehensive membership management platform will benefit all levels of our sport across Canada. We were very impressed with Interpodia’s experience and innovative solutions, and recognize the many ways it will improve the way we do business and better serve our members.”
Currently finalizing a new strategic plan – which identified organization excellence as a priority – Archery Canada embarked upon an RFP process last fall, including consultation with representatives of all provincial associations.
Interpodia’s ecosystem provides sport organizations with a variety of services including membership registration and management, event registration, coach and official licensing, and much more. It also acts as a hub to integrate with other vertical specialists such as communication tools like MailChimp, and designated online training providers.
Through this partnership, Archery Canada’s athletes, officials and administrators will also be able to access features such as digital membership cards, digital waiver management, volunteer management, safe sport compliance tracking, as well as access to training modules and programs exclusive to registrants.
“We are thrilled to have been chosen by Archery Canada to power their sport with our sport-specific registration and management technology,” said Interpodia chief financial officer Rupert May. “We look forward to working with their team to improve the user experience, reduce administration and assist with risk management in order to advance the sport of archery in Canada.”
Interpodia’s client base already includes a wide range of national sport organizations in Canada, including Speed Skating Canada, Canada Snowboard, Cycling Canada, Badminton Canada, Triathlon Canada, Equestrian Canada and the Canadian Fencing Federation.
The new Archery Canada platform is expected to launch in the fall of 2020.
