Archery Canada recognizes the contribution of their volunteers, athletes, coaches and judges at the 2018 National Championships

Ottawa (Archery Canada) – The Archery Canada Board of Directors celebrated their members and distinguished guests this past weekend in Truro, NS, during the 2018 Banquet and Annual General Meeting, coinciding with the 2018 National Championships. “I am so very proud and pleased to see the quality of the winners of the Annual Archery Canada awards this year,” said Al Wills, President of Archery Canada “They show the depth of character and ability of our Canadian Archers and all are a tribute to the memories of those past archers the awards are named for. ”
The 2018 banquets saw Archery Canada recognize the outstanding contribution of many volunteers throughout Canada and also the outstanding achievements of Canadians athletes, coaches and officials for their incredible performances and contributions in 2017– a list of those recognized with awards is attached to this release. A total of nine (9) awards were given out this week with a number of Presidential Citation pins also being awarded.

Junior Female Athlete of the Year: Alexandra Paquette
Sylvio Beauregard Judge of the Year: Mike Oneschuk
Judge Emeritus: Roger Garrod
