Archery Canada selects Archery Manitoba to host the 2020  Canada Cup West

OTTAWA (Archery Canada) — Archery Canada is pleased to announce that Archery Manitoba will host the 2020 Canada Cup West, in Winnipeg Manitoba from June 6-7th 2020.

There has been a long tradition for the hosting of the Canada Cup target archery in the Western Canadian provinces, and Archery Canada is looking forward to the introduction of an Eastern version in 2020. This annual competition helps to promote and increase regional competition of Archery in Canada, while serving as a celebration of our sport and its community. 

The Canada Cup West will consist of One (1) 720 Target qualification round, Individual Match Play, and Mixed Team Match Play. The 720 Qualification round will be used to determine the archers qualifying positions for Individual Double Elimination Match play. The Mixed Team Event entry format is to be determined based on participation. 

The Canada Cup will be open to the following Age and Equipment Classes:

  • Recurve Men and Women – Cadet to Master Age Classes
  • Compound Men and Women – Cadet to Master Age Classes
  • Barebow Men and Women – Cadet to Senior Age Classes

Archery Canada is excited to bring this event to Manitoba in 2020. Information of registration, and event logistics will be made available shortly.
