Record Attendance and Standout Performances Mark the 2025 Canada Cup East in Caledon

Caledon, ON – June 27, 2025 — This past weekend, the 2025 edition of Canada Cup East delivered a weekend of unforgettable competition, community spirit, and national pride. Over 140 archers from six provinces, territories, and the United States came together in Caledon for one of Canada’s premier outdoor tournaments.

Hosted by The Archers of Caledon, this year’s event reached new heights in both participation and performance, building on a long tradition of excellence. Athletes competed in recurve, compound, and barebow divisions across all age categories, as well as para archery and mixed team formats, showcasing the depth and diversity of talent in Canadian archery.

With national ranking points on the line, the competition was intense. In the senior recurve men’s division, Paris 2024 Olympian Eric Peters (ON) edged out teammate Kurtis Ng (ON) to claim gold, while Bryanne Lameg (MB) showed her strength in compound, capturing both individual and mixed team titles alongside Jordan Adachi (BC). Para athletes also showed technical skill, with Jean-François Lavergne (QC) and Daniel Comeau (QC) earning top honours in their respective categories.
