2018 Outdoor Mailmatch Start Soon
It’s time to start thinking about outdoor competition. With the closing of the Indoor Mailmatch season Archery Canada would like to welcome any and all competitors to take part in the Outdoor Mailmatch – scheduled to commence again this year on June 1st, 2018.
The Outdoor Mailmatch is a series of Archery Canada 720 Rounds shot between June 1st and September 30th. Over the course of the 18 weeks of competition each competing archer may submit up to one score per calendar week (Monday to Sunday). At the end of competition the top six scores will be averaged and Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals awarded for all categories and divisions. An additional Gold Medal will be awarded to the top competitor in each of the Outdoor Mailmatch Classifications listed on the Archery Canada website, if a gold medal has not already been awarded. A minimum of six submitted scores is required over the 18 weeks to be eligible for awards.
The 2018 Outdoor Mailmatch also has the addition of the Longbow class for males and females – no age divisions will be applied.
