The High Performance Committee establishes selection criteria governing the composition and selection of teams that will represent Canada in international competition. The goal of the Team Selection Policy is to outline a clear, fair and transparent process to select Recurve Target athletes to represent Canada at international competitions. This policy is further supported by event specific addendum.
AC is committed to selecting those athletes to represent Canada, who are best qualified to support the strategic goals and objectives of AC’s high performance program. The goals and objectives of AC may change depending on the event for which selection takes place (e.g. major event such as World Championships and multi-sport games or an event targeted at athlete development). Such Goals and Objectives are described in the Addendum related to a particular event. The Podium Result Track (PRT) may be used as a part of the process. Information on the PRT may be found on the Recurve Program General Information page.
